The IGNOU Online MCA in AI & ML is a relevant search term for students interested in pursuing a postgraduate computer applications degree while exploring emerging technologies. Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) offers a two-year Master of Computer Applications programme through online and open-distance learning modes. Its online MCA curriculum includes dedicated subjects in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Data Science, Cloud Computing and related technologies. Established in 1985 through an Act of Parliament, IGNOU is one of India's leading open universities. Its flexible learning approach makes higher education accessible to students from different academic and professional backgrounds. The university focuses on providing affordable education while developing practical and theoretical knowledge. The online MCA programme is designed to build a strong foundation in computer applications, software development, programming, database management, computer networks and advanced computing. Students also get opportunities to explore AI and ML concepts through dedicated coursework and practical laboratory sessions. An important distinction is that AI & ML is a subject area within IGNOU's broader MCA curriculum, rather than a separately listed specialisation. For students and working professionals, the programme can offer a flexible route to postgraduate education without requiring them to leave their existing commitments.
